Coronavirus Update 20/05/20

'In preparation for re-opening, where we are expecting a phased approach, with our games rooms and the restaurant being last to open. We have already put some measures in place to make life easier for social  distancing. It  seems likeliest that holiday home owners will be allowed back first, though we have yet to receive government confirmation on how to proceed.

Our trade association, BH & HPA, are working on guidelines, though ahead of that, we have taken some safety and reassurance measures of our own. Prior to closing on 24th March we had already installed hand gel dispensers in our Reception, main Games Room, Touring Block and Staff room and all staff were wearing gloves in contact areas. The wearing of gloves by staff will continue going forward and we also have a supply of face masks.

In addition to the above we have erected a Perspex screen in Reception and will ensure a 2m distance is respected at all times for the safety and reassurance of both staff and customers and we will also be restricting the number in Reception to one at a time.  The same will apply to the launderette, if opened, and a one way system has been marked around the reception building with marks on the ground indicating a 2m waiting distance.

We have also marked widths around the roads on the park to let visitors know how far to stand apart when chatting. With our one way traffic system the roads are mainly between 2.3m and 2.5 m wide meaning the easiest way to work it out is just to stand on opposite sides of the road when talking.

There will no doubt be more to come but everyone’s  Safety and Re-assurance are top priority for us in making sure that we look after everybody on the park and that we all come back to enjoy Craigtoun Meadows for what it is, a peaceful, safe environment to enjoy a relaxing holiday. '
