Covid 19 Update 30.12.20

We hope everyone had a great Christmas, despite all the restrictions we are facing, and you are looking forward to an albeit quieter New Year.
We are due back at work on Monday 4th, though our Reception will not be open and any contact should only be by email as the office will not be manned due to the new rules.

COVID-19 UPDATE

We have noted below various pieces of information provided by the Scottish Government that relates to Holiday Homes -.

'To minimise the risk of spreading the virus, you should stay at home or in your local area as much as possible and only travel out with your Local Authority area for essential purposes.'
Remember socialising rules have also been updated.
'These limit households from mixing with other households in various settings, including private dwellings. Self-contained holiday accommodation is within the definition of a private dwelling, and these restrictions therefore also apply to all forms of self-catering accommodation, including holiday cottages, lodges, apartments, caravans.......'
'You should not meet anyone who is not in your household indoors in your home or in their home. You can meet another household indoors in a public place.'
'You can go into another household to provide care and support for a vulnerable person.'
'This does not prevent holiday accommodation from being provided to anyone who is unable to return to their main residence, uses that accommodation as their main residence, is living in that accommodation for work purposes, needs accommodation while moving house, needs accommodation to attend a funeral, to the homeless or to support services for the homeless, to host blood donation sessions, or for any purpose requested by the Scottish Ministers or a local authority.'
'We have also been advised that it is possible to attend your holiday home for essential maintenance as well.'
Please stay safe and we hope you have a Happy New Year.

2021 can only be better if we all do our part!
